2nd annual ‘Glenside En Blanc’ set for Sept. 13, tickets available on Aug. 1

The Keswick Village Business Association (KVBA) announced that the second annual “Glenside En Blanc” will take place from 6:00pm – 9:00pm on Sunday, September 13 in Keswick Village.

Described as “an unforgettable evening of dining, music, and community”, the event’s inaugural run sold out quickly, KVBA member Colleen McDermott told Glenside Local last year.

The idea for a Glenside version of “en Blanc” started with a suggestion by Tim McLoone, owner/supervisor of May Funeral Home. Glenside en Blanc is a “Bring Your Own Everything” event, from tables to chairs to food. McDermott’s Keswick Collective provided a photo booth “with a line twenty deep,” she said.

With live music and a catchphrase “Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day?”, the evening offered prizes for best tablescape and best dressed. Local restaurants, including TreVi, Rooster’s, and Renato’s, offered takeout specials.

“Registration opens August 1 and tickets are limited. This event is expected to sell out, so be sure to follow our page and watch for the official ticket release and event details,” organizers said in a post.
