Beginning at 6 pm this evening, the 29th annual Jenkintown Sunset 5K will begin at Jenkintown Town Square. The race is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Jenkintown and is a rain or shine event.

There is no day-of registration and the event is sold out. Between 5-7PM at the gazebo, there will be live music by the Acoustic Keys featuring Jenkintown residents Joe Mahoney and Lisa Rountree Ridenour.

There will be 250 runners on the roads this evening, so residents driving at that time are asked to be careful, anticipate some delays, and to please be patient. Roads will be closed to traffic throughout the borough and especially around the Town Square at 4:00PM.  Runners should all be off the roads by 7:15PM.
