10 Pennsylvanians (plus Michael Jordan) make Forbes’ list of richest people in US

According to Forbes’ list of the 400 wealthiest people in the U.S. for 2023, 10 Pennsylvanians are worth at least $2.9 billion, the list’s cutoff point.

Collectively, these 400 people are worth $4.5 trillion. Net worths were calculated using stock prices from September 8, 2023.

Elon Musk topped the list with a net worth of $251 billion, followed by Jeff Bezos ($161B) and Larry Ellison ($158B). Former president Donald Trump’s fortune fell 19% to $2.6 billion, so he did not make the cut.
