The La Salle College High School football team lost 21-14 against St. Joseph’s Prep in the Philadelphia Catholic League 6A football championship game at Wissahickon High School in Ambler on Saturday, November 9.

The Explorers beat St. Joseph’s Prep by one point during the regular season in one of the best high school football games in the nation this year, Sports Illustrated reported. Their recap is here.

La Salle was ranked number one in the state and 10-0 entering the game. St. Joseph’s Prep was ranked number two and came in at 6-2.
