Multiple crews extinguish fire at Erdenheim Auto Repair

The Flourtown Fire Company announced that crews recently responded to a fire at Erdenheim Auto Repair (601 Bethlehem Pike in the Glenside section of Springfield Township).

According to their report, Engine 6 was able to extinguish the fire and received mutual aid from Wyndmoor Hose, Oreland Volunteer Fire Company, Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company, Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1 and Community Ambulance Association, Ambler.


“Our thoughts are with the business owner, we hope to see this staple of our community back up and running soon,” the company said in a post, which noted that volunteers responded to 35 calls over a four-day span, which included numerous responses during Thursday’s storm.
