On Monday, the Cheltenham School District announced that Dr. Benjamin Hammond, a 1998 graduate of Abington High School, has been named interim principal at Cheltenham High School.

Sometime in the near future, the Board of School Directors are expected to name the high school’s 23rd permanent, full-time principal. In the interim, local historian Chuck Langerman has shared a comprehensive list of each and every principal to serve Cheltenham High School.

Please note that interim and acting principals are not included on this list.
