Fred Beans Automotive Group of Doylestown purchased four Abington Township dealerships and a collision center from Rosenthal Automotive of Virginia on Monday, April 22, the Philadelphia Business Journal reported today.

Acura (850 Old York Road), Honda (1543 Easton Road), Hyundai (1645 Easton Road) and Mazda (1601 Easton Road) were each part of the deal.

Abington Collision Center, located at the Honda dealership, is being renamed “Fred Beans CARSTAR”, according to the Journal.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, the Journal said, though Fred Beans Automotive Group plans to retain the existing employees at the dealerships and collision center.

“Our growth in the Abington market means an even bigger selection of vehicles and another CARSTAR collision center for our Fred Beans customers,” Beth Beans Gilbert, vice president of Fred Beans Automotive, said in a statement.
